So serious question, I had just gotten a puppy she was 6w when we got her and we’ve had her for 2 weeks now and her teething is getting really bad and we got her a rope toy and other things to help but she keeps chewing on everything. Anybody have a few tips to get her to stop chewing on things?

we tried the spray bottle but she gotten used to it, and enjoyed the water lol. This is my first time experience with a puppy that isn’t old enough to know better. Our other dogs we used to have were older and already trained, So this is really helpful thank you.

Spicy stuff (black pepper and hot sauce aren’t good for dogs) sure they can accidentally eat it but if it’s a small puppy I’m not sure how much it can eat before getting sick.
Ps: Google is shit. Hot stuff and sour stuff aren’t good for dogs. Lemons etc it upsets their stomach and can cause diarrhea and throwing up.
Apples seem to be fine but check the other ingredient list as well.
Bitter sprays, such as Grannick's Bitter Apple Spray and other commercial, non-toxic, alcohol-based, or water-based deterrents, are generally considered safe and effective for training dogs to stop chewing on furniture, shoes, and fur. They are designed to be harmless, even if ingested in small amounts.
Key details regarding bitter spray safety:
Safe Usage: These sprays can be applied directly to household items, electrical cords, and even onto the dog's skin to deter licking of wounds or hot spots.
Safety Precautions: While generally non-toxic, it is recommended to read the specific product label, as some dogs might have a sensitive reaction to certain ingredients.
