Hi Elli! It's been a while since I've been on Wattpad so I'm not even sure if this will reach you but I just wanted to say that your Stars of Gryffindor series changed my life. I was really young when I started reading them (I'm actually the same age as Astra would be in real life) and I really grew up with the characters. Astra meant a lot to me as someone who had a similar anger streak. Your books are what broke me out of conservative brainwashing and completely changed the way I see the world. Thank you for all the words you've written, because they've changed me for the absolute better

Just wanted to say that I still think about this place, your fics, and how things used to be a lot. 
          
          I write for the Hunger Games fandom now, on another platform, and we got to talking about Wattpad fics in my HG Discord server today. It got me talking about your old ones, and how when you switched to writing mostly for HP, we had a whole Google Hangouts chat that a bunch of us talked in.
          
          It’s hard to believe that was like ten years ago, when we were all in high school. It’s so weird, to lose contact with most people from back then, when we all sort of grew up together in a way.
          
          I don’t really post here now, either. Just wanted to say thanks for all of those memories, and I still come back to read your stuff from time to time.

Heyy, I’m writing a Harry Potter fanfic, and I need some help making my character seem like they are in Britain but I’m an American, and I don’t live in the UK , so I was wondering if you could peer review my first chapter… and correct some of my dialogue! @CupOf_Tea74 unfortunately I’m also American so I’m not sure how much help I’d be! I think it’s really useful to look up videos of Brits and/or Americans talking about words they had different meanings for when visiting or moving to the other country. You can find lists online, but TikTok or YouTube is probably a better source because real people will always notice the subtle things that articles and blogs might miss. Those subtle things are the ones that really make it clear if you know what British people sound like for real or if you’re just going off of movies/TV/books! 
            
            If that doesn’t help, hit me up again and I’d love to do the best I can! I’m pretty rusty on my British writing since it’s been over a year since I finished my enormously long fanfic but I’m sure I’ll be able to remember SOMETHING :)
