Quick word of advice to all my fellow writers:
@pyropyra once gave me some advice on a chapter. It was about as good as a rat's ass, and had other underlying issues, but that's not the current point I'm making...
When I read Wattpad fics, least the ones where they have paragraph breaks and decent writing (ALWAYS USE PARAGRAPH BREAKS. THEY ARE NOT OPTIONAL), I tend to now notice when writers overuse "I".
It, to be blunt, causes the novel to read like a grocery list, and, as great as your plot or story might be, people probably won't read it if the writing / pacing is uncomfortable.
