Hi, I was wondering if Snadger Smith was based on a real person? I have a property in Snadger Smith Lane, Inglewood, Victoria, Australia. 
          I was searching for any information on the name as it is a bit unusual, and also my family name is Smith, Your story appeared in my Google search so here I am. I love the story by the way, keep up the good work.

Hi Paul, 
            This was a book I started a few years ago but even though I’ve done a lot more & haven’t published them I got distracted with my other book on medieval kings. 
            The book is based on my grandfather who served in ww1, it follows his battalion movements as I’ve got the battalion book. 
            I’m from Wedderburn originally & grew up in the bush & worked in the area too. I kept driving past the lane & thought it would be a great title for my book. I don’t know anything about Snadger Smith himself although I’ve tried to find out. 
            Now on the Smith name, my Aunty Rosemary came from Inglewood & was a Smith. Her sister is Barbara Rodwell so you probably know her & Brian & are most likely related knowing small towns?
            The trouble with writing a book is that you keep going over what you’ve written & edit, so that’s why it’s taken me so long but I will get back to it one day. I’ll unlock some other chapters that I want to do more work on because I wasn’t happy with them so you’ll understand the story a bit more.
