Hello everyone! Just a quick announcement. I will be rewriting A Night with Joy because I don't like how it came out especially since I accidentally left some things out that were meant to be in this chapter, but the I have the next chapter already in the works as well!
The newest chapter, "A Night with Joy" has just been published and lemme just say, y'all are NOT ready hehehehehe
I just posted the newest chapter "True Colors" so please go check it out! This was a pretty abstract fight scene in my opinion lol, and I hope I did well. As the name suggests, some people's true colors will be shown, and the tensions may or may not be boiling over!
Okay everyone, I've been thinking about this for a fat minute now ever since I split part two into part 3. So I was looking over my general layout of the Distortia storyline and right now, it seems to have grown to between 70 and 80 chapters. Now, I REALLLYYYY don't want to publish a story that's so long especially since I feel like that could deter readers, so I believe I will be splitting Distortia into a duology. Once Part Three reaches a close, so will the first book, and the second book will handle a lot more of the heavier topics and the Firsts directly without the feeling of being rushed. I do apologize for the inconvenience and let me know your thoughts
AHHHH guys I'm starting the new chapter and ngl I'm so excited to write this one and the next chapter they are gonna be so fun! Finally, FINALLY I get to write the Ball scenes ughhhhh
Once a Dreary Night has just been published! Ngl, when it gets to Adelaide's backstory, it's gonna destroy me. Even earlier writing this chapter I was crying in a coffee shop.... embarrassing. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this chapter. The next couple chapters will really set everything into motion, so consider this a calm before the storm ;)
The Part Two Finale, "His name is Cassian" has officially been published! I poured my soul into this, and I may or may not have cried while writing it, so please be warned lol. The chapter is a whopping 4,000 words. I promise most chapters won't get that long, this one just had so much to say. So hunker down, grab some snacks, and enjoy Despair's origin story (and finally meet our main villain)
Just posted the first intermission chapter of the two part finale "An Older Brother's Duty". The chapter is about 3500 words long, so grab your snacks and hunker down lol
The newest chapter "River of Broken Dreams" has been published! The two part finale will be two intermission chapters, showing the backstory of Despair and perhaps the other Davenwoods, and bring to light how Terror's reign of chaos befell the land. Yes, you will also finally see a glimpse of Terror as well lol, but I do hope you guys are ready, because it will or will not make you cry!
The newest chapter "The Court of Sorrow" has just been posted! I have noticed that I am getting a lot of reads but not many reactions or comments, so it would be greatly appreciated if you showed some love! There are only two more chapters in Part Two, "River of Broken Dreams" and "His Name is Cassian" which will be the two part finale!!! WHOOOOO
