@Atifsvocalchords love you for this........and yes Shubman is all ready to cash this chance......his performance proves. Vo ek kharab innings khelta hai......aur log chad jate hai uspe......they don't notice or realize his capability. 
          
          He is in contention for captaincy. Even when he is not in his leadership role , he has that certain body language in him which pumps up the other players around him. 
          
          Rishabh on the other hand is a pure gem in test cricket.

@Atifsvocalchords In simple words it's either exposing the flaws of our own batsmen by making them play in such pitches.....but should that come before the want to win for our country. As far as I have understood GG's mindset is to always go for the win. 
          
          Something that is bugging me are the weird playing 11 selections and certain strategic changes in the batting lineup. Usually that's the captain's department I believe until and unless the captain asks for advice. So do you think there is any interference from the coach's end? 
          
          There are so many narratives around......koi mujhe yeh samjhao ki maine jo kaha yeh sahi baat hai ki galat ? 
          
          Not denying though the batting performance except for a few actually worsened the wrongly taken descions. 
          
          @budstarc weeding out flaws it could be but would he do that staking the dreams of Indian's of the WTC final? 
          Even if it is true that flaws need to be corrected. In the test team their are hardly players who can play spin well apart from a rare few amongst the youngsters.....the seniors would be phased out soon....keeping that in mind. And according to me it's not everybody's cup of tea is it to improve and change one's own mistake between matches within just a few days.....but we do have players like that......with insane work ethics.......but not all are like them....are they ? 
          
          Not doubting anybody's capability though.

@SnehaGuha792 truely maybe either we are overthinking with our speculations or maybe it's actually what we are feeling.......everything said and done all that we hope is the best for Indian Cricket.

            But Virat’s sudden change in playing style made me doubt a bit. Like he was second guessing himself 
            And the order was all over the place
            If u took Sarfaraz then why bring him in at 8
            And when spin tracks was not working why go for the same pitch in wankhede

@budstarc Virat's respect for his skipper, his forever Captain has taught me what leadership actually is. Just think about it apart from the team , it was only MS who had reached out to him with a message when Virat went through his toughest time. Virat himself had mentioned this in a podcast

            He will never speak out against anyone even against those who speak against him
            That makes him different
