          My thoughts on fanfic is like my thoughts on sex. I’m chill with it as long as I’m not a part of it

I have things that I need to get done but I read a really cute Wintersberg fic called Mold and Metal on ao3 where they had cute domestic moments and they moved out to Maine with Chris's help and got to live a normal life and it only had 28 chapters and I want more but it hasn't been updated in like a year and I've read the whole thing multiple times and now I'm sad but I'm also reading another Wintersberg fic on ao3 called Fire and Lightning that's still being continued and I've also read it multiple times and I'm always excited for the next chapter but I have stuff that needs to get done but I also want to keep reading more fics and catch up on the newest chapters.
          I feel very conflicted, someone help me.

Every now and then I'll come across a thick where one person is cooking and the other person walks in and they end up having sex.
          
          Typically it's pancakes and they never remove the last pancake from the skillet so all I can think is that the house is going to burn down cuz there's a pancake left on the grill.
