Writers are actors on paper. - This is a sentiment that I firmly believe in and live by as an author. When I write I dive deep into the personalities of my characters - I try to, anyway. I try to put myself in their shoes, what they are going through, what they might be thinking and feeling under the given circumstances and in certain events. It's like I'm slipping into this role and play it as I write it. For me, this form of "role-playing" is essential to portray a character as believable and realistic as I can.
