For quite some time, I've been meaning to translate a book from Russian (as it has no other translation to English, anywhere) and I was wondering if I should put more effort into it.
It follows Volyha, an adept from the Starmin school of sorcery, who has been sent off to deliver a letter to Dageva, the vampire country. She's been given garlic, a stake, a cross, holy water... But when she gets there, vampires aren't quite how they are in the stories.
May I just say Mirio is really fancy. If I had permeation, I wouldn't do the fancy one-body-part-at-a-time method to pass through obstacles. I'd lob myself straight through that wall.
