Anyone got any good LNs to suggest? I’ve been thinking of starting to read more, but I’m not sure where to start. I’ve really only read like 4, those being COTE, ORV, Trash of the Count’s Family, and Pick Me Up, Infinite Gacha. I’m fine with reading anything, from romcom to shonen. I’m really trying to take my mind off college applications.

I’m now realizing how easily the wording of questions can influence your answer. I’m taking a psychology class, and for an activity we were given a sort of survey/questionnaire. For example, one of the questions was “Is the Mississippi River longer or shorter than 500 miles?” and followed up with “How many miles long is it?” Almost everyone chose an answer that was somewhat close to the point of reference they got, so it was divided between 2 distinct groups since there was 2 different points of references depending on which version you got.  People who got the “500” one usually had an answer close to it, as with the people who got the “2000” one. I originally thought it was between 1000 and 2000 miles, but since I got the 500 one, I decided to go lower and closer to 500, so I wrote 800 miles. Pretty interesting.

Ah, I’m so frustrated… I’ve been meaning to read some of the fics I have in my library, but school has been so annoyingly time consuming. Whatever. This weekend, I’ll definitely read some of my favorite stuff. 

It's insane that Genshin released 5 years ago. Time has been flying by post-COVID, and I'm almost an adult now. Hell, it's been 3 years since my first fic. I was gonna get a part time job last summer but all I did was sleep and hang out with friends LOL.

It feels a bit weird publishing a new story since I see a lot of accounts I haven’t seen before but also some old faces from before.

God, I’m so sick of rom coms randomly introducing a character that gets in the way of the MC’s romantic life without any or minimal build up. After reading a ton of these types, it feels like a cheap and artificial way to create some semblance of ‘plot’. Not only that, but it’s usually some sort of character that likes the MC starting from some time ago, like a childhood friend, or a classmate that somehow finds the charm of the MC based off of one incident where they’re involved.

Recently I’ve tried alcohol for the first time, even though I’m a minor and shouldn’t because of brain development reasons. It’s something called vodka iced tea and has about 4.5% alcohol by volume. My first impressions of it were that it had a pretty terrible aftertaste at first, but I got used to it and it tasted like normal iced tea. I finished the can but I don’t think that was enough to get me drunk. Technically it’s illegal for me to drink it, but I’m gonna ignore the law in favor of my curiosity. Don’t be like me and at least wait until you’re 21 to become a raging alcoholic.

I simultaneously love and hate reading rom com manga because on one hand, it’s usually really good, but on the other hand, it makes me feel really lonely…

          It’s a great manga that I recommend. The manga delves into the topic of villains in traditional hero shows like the power rangers. Some parts are a little confusing, but it’s some of the best chapters I’ve read, along with the interesting premise. A warning to people who expect an overpowered MC: it’s not here. The protagonist isn’t very strong, albeit he is a shrewd one. The art style is a mix between simplistic and detailed. It almost reminds me of CSM, although CSM is much more unique.

I’m probably going to forget, so before it even occurs, Happy Fourth of July! I’m gonna go to an event with a couple friends to celebrate. Anyways, another manga I might recommend is ‘Boku no Suki na Hito ga Suki na Hito’. It’s a love triangle story that caught my interest. There’s not too many chapters yet, and it doesn’t update too often, but I had fun reading it.
