Hey everyone, I’ve started a blog and I hope you will all read it. :) I have felt that God has really put this blog on my heart. My blog is called RedeemedByFaith and in my blog I will be talking about Christianity, addiction, faith, hope, and a bunch of other things.

In Joshua 7:13, God says to Joshua to tell the people to “Set yourselves apart to the Lord for tomorrow. The Lord, the God of Israel, says some of you are keeping things he commanded you to destroy. You will never defeat your enemies until you throw these things away.” 
          
          I think that this verse very strongly relates to addiction. I think in addiction we're keeping things we should destroy. God says that we will never defeat our enemies until we throw these things away. I know that God is talking about a different enemy in this verse but I think we can relate it to sexual addiction as well. 
          
          We will not be able to get out of our trap of addiction unless we throw away the trap. If we keep the trap we're just going to get stuck over and over again. I know it will be hard to throw away this trap because we really like this trap, it’s nice and cozy and makes us feel safe and at home. But God is right in saying that the only way we can defeat the enemy is if we throw this trap, this thing we shouldn’t be keeping away. 
          
          So the only way to escape your smut addiction is by throwing your smut trap away. You need to destroy your trap. I know it will be hard to leave Wattpad, you have lots of friends there but just because you are saying goodbye to Wattpad doesn’t mean you need to say goodbye to your friends. You can get their contact info so that you can still contact them off of Wattpad. 
          
          I know it will be hard but think about this, you had a life before Wattpad and before you had Wattpad you didn’t need it. You can have a life without Wattpad too. It will be hard work but life is hard the sooner you learn that the better. I know not all of you will choose to delete Wattpad but those who do, find a way to block the site/app so you won't be tempted to download it again.
