Well, a lot happened. Not to bore you with any of my personal troubles, but let's just say the storm has passed--for now. Because of it, my writing habit has diminished slightly. But I'm getting back. Slash of Life will get its first round of published stories as scheduled. I do appreciate all who give it a look and stick with it. Thank you all!

So, Slash of Life is going rather well. The lore behind it can be a whole book in itself. I'll just sum it up for you.
It started out as a fantasy action idea, then after I felt that was out of reach and reason, I took most of the characters and did a sort of pilot story with them in a small town. From there, the idea took shape and, after years of refinement and blood, sweat, tears, bargaining and pitiful wails of exhaustion, Slash of Life was finally realized.
For those not aware of it, Slash of Life follows Slash Wise, the new kid in town, going on adventures in said town with his best friends, getting into trouble, and learning some life lessons along the way. Each chapter is its own contained story, and it flows like a TV show, episodic with an overarching plot. I do hope you all enjoy it as much as I do writing it.
          Thank you.

It's been a spell, hasn't it? Let's just say I was lost in the wilderness for a while. New job, a sort of conversion from one idea to its general completion, life got a bit messy for a while. But I'm back--for now. I've updated Slash of Life (not that any reader cares, but I do), and I believe it is a much better version of it from what it once was. I do hope you all come to love it as much as I have.
          Thank you.

Back at it again with some updates. I just posted two new stories--short stories but stories, nonetheless. One is titled Red Rain, a tale of a son returning home and a mysterious red cloud that descends upon his home. The other is a continuation of my story Slash of Life; think of it as bonus episodes on a podcast. They're stories worth telling but not meaty enough to be featured in the main series of stories. Go check it out: Slash of Life: Life Bites Volume 1. Six stories will be posted, updated weekly on Sundays.
I have several more projects in the works including the Slash of Life Halloween and Christmas specials, so stay tuned.

I'm back! I've been busy with work, a transition that took some time to get the hang of. But I've made up for it by releasing two new stories, all centered around horror. One about an internet mystery, the other about addictions and the cost of it. Both are complete, but be warned, The Mannequin Who Loved Me is a story dealing with subject matter that is definitely not for younger readers-it is rated mature and tagged with nsfw.
Other than that, that's pretty much it. I will be releasing a series of short stories set in the Slash of Life story. Until then, stay safe, and stay tuned!

I wrote a new story! Devour is a tale about a man staring down death in the face of his execution. Of course, there's a twist; there always is with horror stories. It's available now for your reading pleasure.
