Ok, is it pronounced GIF with a g like in g, or is it pronounced JIF like the peanut butter brand? I thought gif because JIF already exists and G is usually not pronounced like a j, but I looked it up and people say JIF. It should be Gif, it's just like gift without the T. Right? Wrong?

I want to write fanfic of dead fandoms like svtfoe (tbh I was half considering writing a crossover between svtfoe and Black Butler before questioning who in their right mind would read it) Also, not dead y'all, just busy.
