Hello, everyone. I’m sorry I haven’t been updating Beneath the Waves like I promised. My aunt passed away last night after almost a week in the ICU. Our family is heartbroken, and the house feels so heavy with grief.

Right now, I just don’t have the heart or energy to work on any story or even uploading it. It doesn’t feel right to focus on anything else while we’re all mourning. I hope you can understand. Thank you.

REALIZATIONS after watching War's Chairs to Share episode:

Life is not about rushing to the end. It's about learning how to be soft with yourself, present with others, and honest about what you feel..whatever shape that takes.

Not only is he a man full of passion and talent, but also a man with substance. He sees life as an unending journey, one shaped not by the pursuit of perfection but by the beauty found in moments of honesty, connection, and growth. War doesn't rush to define everything. Instead, he allows life to unfold with curiosity and care. He listens deeply, feels fully, and lives gently, choosing meaning over noise and depth over surface. He reminds me that living well isn't about always knowing the answer but about never stopping the search.

This was such a meaningful watch. I found myself not just understanding War more deeply, but also reflecting on my own life. It gently challenges the way you view life, emotions, and what it means to truly live with intention and grace. You come away not just learning about him, but also seeing the world, and your place in it, a little differently.

@Solaure93 it is an amazing interview that does change you as you watch it. I need to view again for a refresher. To think that life is a series of small moments that move so fast makes you step back a bit and pay attention.

What if YinWar in a Squid Game–like fanfiction?

          610 players.
          One prize.
          No second chances.

War enters the game for survival.
Yin enters with secrets no one dares to ask.
          Allies. Strangers. Something more.
But in a world where trust can kill you—
          what will they choose?

Hey everyone!

This is a little embarrassing to share, but I wanted to give you an update in case you’ve been wondering what’s going on with The Tapestry of Lifetimes and why it’s taking longer than expected.

The truth is… yeah, it’s taking a while. I’ve ended up going back to rework the whole thing from the ground up. I’ve revised it so many times already, and somehow, each revision just made things feel more tangled. It got to the point where it felt messier with every pass—and honestly, so did my head!

I usually like to stick closely to my plans, but this story turned out to be a lot more challenging than I anticipated. So I’ve made the decision to start fresh, and give it the attention and clarity it truly deserves.

But while we wait for The Tapestry of Lifetimes, I’ve started working on something new in the meantime—Between Waves. It’ll be released first as a little peace offering before Tapestry of Lifetimes is ready.

So please look forward to it, and thank you again for being so patient with me.

Novel Recommendation:

The Ocean at the End of the Lane by Neil Gaiman.

I just finished this novel today, and I’m still kind of...dazed. It’s one of those books that sneaks up on you, soft, strange, and sad in a way that’s hard to put into words. I didn’t expect it to hit me so hard, but something about the way it talks about childhood fears, loneliness, and that kind of fleeting magic we stop believing in really stuck with me. The writing is beautiful, too..not flashy, but it gets to you. It’s like the author knows how to say so much with so little, and every word feels like it’s holding something important. It’s less like reading a story and more like remembering something you didn’t even know you’d forgotten. Quiet. Haunting. Beautiful. Honestly, this is the kind of writing I strive for as a writer, the simplicity, the weight in each sentence, the way everything just lingers in your mind long after you’ve finished.

My favorite lines from the novel:

"Monsters come in all shapes and sizes. Some of them are things people are scared of. Some of them are things that look like things people used to be scared of. And some of them are people"

Rewatching TBS… Maybe I miss DewBest way too much. So much that I let it hurt, just to feel something, just to remind myself they were real. That they existed. That they mattered to me.

Sometimes I wonder… what if Dew had confessed out in that open field? What if Best had run to him the moment he saw that IG story?

I hope in another universe, they finally found the courage. Dew confessed beneath the sky, and Best ran without hesitation. No missed chances. No what-ifs. Just two hearts meeting halfway, like they always should have.

Readitlit

@Solaure93 yes, and it all leads to the “what if’s “ again. I do miss that I can only read fanfics, that put Fern in her place and give Dew and Best a second chance, not watch it. I do miss them- so young- innocent- guarded, since dealing with “taboo” feelings - grappling, with the “what do I do next” - Loss, the worst, is them thinking they had time to decide.

@Readitlit the revelation about Dew's feelings felt like a dagger, it recontextualizes everything ,making earlier scenes suddenly more painful in retrospect.. The mutual pining... the missed timing... the almost confessions... They both have the chance to confess but neither of them took it.. And that what makes it more frustrating but hauntingly beautiful at the same time.. I miss them again. :(

@Solaure93 The what if’s…. I also recently rewatched the series. Sadly, the ending was the same. I loved the way the story unfolded, you were unaware of Dew’s interest & attention, pulled me in more.
