I think they so know their names as  long as you say it enough. Because every time you call them they look at you with a reaction waiting for you to tell them something. 

So, I now have three cats. I recently got one who was previously living under a porch. Anyway, do you think pets know each other's names? There is Jasper and Grace. Do you think that Jasper knows his sister is called Grace? Like, does he?
