Gripping my forearm tightly, Aecus dragged me quickly past the million dollar houses that cluttered this remote beautiful landscape. We were going so fast that the lights from the houses and street lamps were all blending together into a giant yellow blur. Soon the mansions and the ferraris began to subtly fade away as we entered unfamiliar territory. At this I began to feel nervous, naturally, but not enough for me to think anymore about it. Deeper and deeper we dived into this alien place. Even though it was forest land, it was not like home... The trees were not tall, so tall that you believed that they never stopped going until it touched the sky itself, or beautiful, so beautiful that they were the most vibrant of green leaves and the most healthy of brown coating the trunk, or strong, so strong that nothing in the world could bring them down they stood with pride and elegance. These trees were small and unhealthy looking their branches curled into unfriendly shapes. They didn't resemble the same dark endearing brown blanketing itself every so carefully around it's trunk, instead the trunk was a light brown which looked as if disease had infiltrated it. It looked fragile and bare as all it's leaves had deserted it and found a new home on the inviting floor.
"Aecus...I don't like it here..." I said with a tremble accompanying my soft voice
