Sorry about this emo but for some reason when I try to comment on your comment about the love interest for underestimated I can't post it for some reason. And it really pisses me off. It's the one about the main characters love interest, while I have nothing against jiro, it feels like whenever I read a mha story that's not a harem she is always the most common pic for a love interest. And while I've seen a few others, rarely is it ever characters like toga, mina tsu or hatsumi. There I said my piece hopefully this will post.

@Vanessgaming65 Honestly, I think a huge part of it is that Jiro seems to have more screen time than other mha girls. So it makes things kinda bias. Idk

I suppose, but it's your story you can do whatever the hell you want with it. I was just stating the fact that I've seen more mha stories with jiro as love interest and rarely any of the others. Like I can understand ochaco cuz it has been literally confirmed that her and deku are interested in each other while other characters not so much. I think I've read like one MHA story where momo was a love interest. And rarely others who are not confirmed being a relationship.

@Vanessgaming65 So, on this topic: Toga develops a similar strong affection for the MC as she has for Deku, and not long after her introduction. Partly because he does not really care about getting injured (like Deku) but mostly because MC is actually pretty hard to kill and she’s into that. Ashido is among my favorite mha girls but I 1000% see her with Kirishima, so I can’t do that to my boy. Tsu is awesome but I couldn’t really see her personality vs MC’s being compatible enough or interesting enough (just my opinion). And Mei Hatsume has more of a best friend type of relationship with MC than romantic. You’ll see as the story goes on that I try and include her a lot and give them almost ‘sibling energy’ in their interactions. In the end, it came down to Jiro being the love interest because she seemed the most ‘fitting’. MC is loud, crass, and extroverted, sometimes finding enjoyment in chaos. But Jiro is quiet, kind, and introverted, with a deep respect for the calm and quiet moments. I like this dynamic. It feels like the two can learn from each other. That said, if I’d done the MC differently, there’d be a different love interest.
