OK , so like I want to make a few things stated. I do not give a flying fuck for the snow white movie remake. Honestly, rachel zegler is probably why the HTTYD remake is getting dog shit on along with J.K. rowlings Harry Potter for having Astrid and Severus Snape be black.
          
          Let me make it clear that I DO NOT CARE that Astrid and Snape are black, but Snow White is just fucking disrespectful to why she is called snow white in the first place.
          
          "Skin as WHITE as SNOW" it's the fucking title of the movie for a reason. Her skin is so gorgeous so unflawed that the evil queen is JEALOUS of her.
          
          As long as Astrid and Snape are accurate in personality, I DO NOT CARE. Their race had nothing to do with it in the franchise in the first place, so why change the personalities? Unlike Snow White, where I think it is obvious when they mentioned her AS WHITE AS SNOW.

I just don't understand the hardship of just making a simple power ranger book without the unnecessary stuff of other genres put into it. Like just make the MC a power ranger for fucks sake, how hard is that?

I think it depends on which power ranger era you choose. Most are based on sci-fi, like the OG season, and some are fantasy (and more complicated) like Mystic Force. My favorite season, RPM, is sci-fi/dystopia and has some world building I would have to adhere to in order for a story to make sense. 
            You’re right though. Sometimes the stories are over complicated for no reason.
