Thanks for the encouraging words!!! I finally finished and submitted. Then an hour later I remembered I didn't mark it complete and fixed that in a panic!

I'm so excited! "All's Fair in Love and HoCo" has made it into the last round of ONC. I just crossed the 20k-word mark, and it only seems fitting that the mark came right after the sentence that says "Will you go to Homecoming with me".  Now, I just have to hope I can finish this story in time. I've got a lot going on---like a transcontinental move...when I don't know where exactly we're moving to. Less than three weeks until we move into a hotel. Four weeks until we fly. And who knows how long before we know where we'll end up and find a home. Yikes.

A quick update: I updated Unfashionably Dead with the first of three chapters that will segue into the sequel. I've heard that it isn't showing up for some people. I can only guess that Wattpad is being Wattpad when it comes to this story. If you're interested in reading how some of the characters are doing, here is the link. Hopefully it will work. I wanted to take the time to wish all of you a happy Thanksgiving. I had hoped to have a chapter that's from between UD and its sequel written and posted tomorrow, but life has gotten in the way. My mom is in the hospital with Covid, my dad is at home with Covid, and my father-in-law has been in the hospital (not Covid) for the past few days. The six-hour time difference and all of the emotions have definitely taken a toll. New goal is to have that chapter posted on December 1.  Please stay healthy. <3

Hello, hello! I hope you're all doing well and staying healthy. I am wondering if there are any of you Wattpad writers who might be interested in participating in a treasure hunt of sorts, an experiment if you will. My hope is that this will be a way to draw readers to your stories. For it to work, you will need to have either a story with multiple parts (at least four) or multiple stories.
