The feeling when you’re writing scenes that happen over a decade from when the story begins because you have the story planned out almost entirely once they get together but you don’t know how to get them together in the first place so you haven’t actually written even a full chapter and you keep deleting stuff because it sounds like you’ve never been in love before because you have in fact never been in love before but of course your character has to be in love so you go eat chocolate and read other people’s stories when really you need to be studying for the big tests you have coming up but you can’t seem to actually do that and the answer to question four seems to not exist in the textbook and you need to wash your hair but that’s so much work but it’s ok because if nothing else your dog loves you and you just got a new dress that you actually look good in

Anybody have some good fic recommendations? George-centred, preferably. Also, if anybody has any more suggestions regarding my last post, I would be appreciative!

@paul_is_my_husband I have read If I Needed Someone before and it is so sweet! I’ll be sure to check out Mine as well

Mine is an excellent one. Don't remember who it's by, but it's in my reading list. Also I've written one called If I Needed Someone, so if you want to check that out, thank you! :)

@harrisonlara thank you; that means a lot! I’ve been working on some, so once I get them fairly well planned-out I think I’ll start putting them on here

Hello, everybody! I’m thinking about writing a George story, and I wanted some advice regarding what you all like in fics!
-Do you prefer past or present tense? First, second, or third person?
-What are some tropes/themes feel are already done or are overused?
-What are some tropes/themes of which you would like to see more or that you just enjoy reading?
-What sorts of characters do you like best?
          -Any other suggestions?
I haven’t really gotten anything written yet so any input would be greatly appreciated!

1. Past or present tense are both great. Honestly can’t say which I prefer and usually doesn’t hold a standing to the books I really like.
            2. Maybe the Beatles all being in love with the same girl (our main character). Can be good fun but I love to see some nuance!
            3. John and female oc banter or any of the Beatles making jokes and having a laugh!
            4. I love finding out about real life individuals in the Beatles story and having a bit of a spin on it. It’s great!
            5. Just have a good time I think. Publish a work that you enjoy and had fun creating.

            Happy writing!

❤️Even If it isn't 80s George, I still can't wait to read it!

Happy birthday to John Lennon, such an icon and inspiration <3
I may be a George girl, but you have a special place in my heart, too. Your wit and goofy antics never fail to bring a smile to my face, even decades after you made them. You worried how you would be remembered, but here we are, nearly forty-four years after your untimely passing, missing you and remembering you fondly. We love you.
