Been working some more on outlining/writing/whatnot, and I realised some things. I started on the basic concepts of these before I’d really fallen into the Wattpad rabbit hole and now am unsure whether some of these concepts (esp. #2) are a little overdone (not necessarily in a negative way, but that the ideas are no longer fresh).

These are the main 3 I’m working on (all 3 are George stories btw):

          	1. Pretty standard love story initially. They meet and fall in love, main girl has some issues/trauma that they work through together, and so forth. Once it gets going, however, it focusses on their relationship issues and other external problems they face. My main worry for this one is that it would be boring, as I am currently trying to write it as a fairly realistic perspective of what it would be like to be in a relationship with someone like George.
          	2. They have been close friends for a very long time, eventually they both develop feelings for each other, everybody sees it but them, etc, etc, etc. Essentially a bunch of mutual pining and angsty-cute scenarios crammed into a story. I really do find this one a bit cringey so I might scrap it altogether.
          	3. She marries a man that her parents like and who would provide security and good standing. Despite being perfect on paper and seemingly charming, however, he turns out to be abusive (I have not exactly worked out the details of the abuse). She soon falls in love with someone who is much kinder to her (George), and the majority of the book would focus on the resulting events and issues. I really like what I have so far on this one, but I in no way want to misrepresent or make entertainment of domestic abuse, so I am a little reluctant to write it in my story.
Would love to know y’all’s thoughts!! <3

O.K. so I know I keep saying I’ll get started writing s o m e d a y, but I now have three full-lengths in the works! The problem is, every time I get started actually writing, by the time I’m a few chapters in I end up having changed several fundamental aspects of the story and have to start over. BUT the ideas are there so maybe I’ll be able to get rolling soon! Peace & love <3

@SomewhereInHerSmile can't wait to read your stories. I know I get jammed up trying to write all my ideas down. For me, I have to concentrate on one at a time...sink or swim. Even if I hate what I wrote the day before and have to redo the entire thing, it's best for me for continuities sake to focus on one. But I know there are lots of writers who can manage multiple stories at once. They usually use outlines to keep things flowing evenly. ❤️

The feeling when you’re writing scenes that happen over a decade from when the story begins because you have the story planned out almost entirely once they get together but you don’t know how to get them together in the first place so you haven’t actually written even a full chapter and you keep deleting stuff because it sounds like you’ve never been in love before because you have in fact never been in love before but of course your character has to be in love so you go eat chocolate and read other people’s stories when really you need to be studying for the big tests you have coming up but you can’t seem to actually do that and the answer to question four seems to not exist in the textbook and you need to wash your hair but that’s so much work but it’s ok because if nothing else your dog loves you and you just got a new dress that you actually look good in
