The first chapters of my newest book come out this Sunday at 4 PM CEST (2 PM UTC). It's an Ninjago Highschool AU:
As a stranger in his own hometown, Cole Brookstone decides to turn his back on the Marty Oppenheimer boarding school and spend his junior year at Ninjago High School.
Shadowed by the recent death of his mother, he feels a persistent tug deep within - a vibration in his bones and a longing in his heart that draws him toward this school. In particular, he finds himself crossing paths again and again with a specific group centered around Lloyd Garmadon.
For a year now, Kai, Jay, Zane, Nya, and Lloyd have served as the Secret Ninja Force, trained by Master Wu. But without their masks, they are nothing more than outcasts. Lloyd, as the son of the evil Lord Garmadon, has it especially hard.
Everything changes when a new student joins their grade. He has no interest in bullying Lloyd, nor does he try to stay out of their way. On the contrary... the five ninja find themselves inexplicably drawn to Cole..
When a new threat emerges in Ninjago, one thing becomes clear: the Ninja Force needs help, and it turns out that help is already standing right beside them.
