Writing is hard when your mental health is shit, but sometimes writing is the only thing that pushes me through that mental health crisis. Lately it’s been hard to write. I’m really excited for an upcoming chapter, but everything I’m doing to get there feels…wrong.
So that leads me to this.
QOTD: When you’re down in the dumps but being hard on your writing, how do you overcome that?

@SongOfTheNightengale What I do is just write a single sentence and put that away for safe keeping. Then to use your time wisely, do something else like house chores, watch television or what I do ... dance/ exercise. Keep that writer's block off you! So once you're ready, have more ideas (I'm a plotter, so I get things written on an outline) add more to the sentence you first wrote. And sooner or later, you have written a full chapter!

Sometimes writers like you and me have to live the world they create for their stories. It would help you with new ideas and smiles.
