          Old word count: 48,000
          New word count for Part 1: 54, 898 

I really want to enter Chosen in the watty's this year. 
          
          I've been editing my draft, and so far the book on Wattpad has been edited (thrice, by me and two others) up to Chapter 8. I had editing, but understand the need for it, obviously, when it comes to publishing. So I thought I'd share some cool tidbits. 
          
          On average, I added about 500 words to each of my chapters. (This is when I did the bare minimum. Some of the chapters got 1k, chapter 5 or 6 got about 1.2k words added.) When I did the first 8 chapters before, I ended around 16-ish thousand words. I've been adding the new totals as I go to keep up with the word count. 
          
          New total for chapters 1-8 is 23,898. Didn't get to 20k until chapter 10 the first time I wrote this story. 
          
          I think I'm going to break my 116k word record with this round of editing, and I'm really proud of myself for that. Just thought I'd share. :)

Have we gotten any news on The Wattys?

          However, I have a feeling this will be seen, so let me say my piece, and that will be the end of it, especially since my name keeps coming up.
          
          I have never targeted anyone on Wattpad. I have never sat here and thought to myself, “Oh, this will stick it to them.” I have no beef with anyone on Wattpad because, quite frankly, I do not know you. I cannot have beef with someone I do not personally know.
          
          Changing my mind about an opinion I once held after receiving more information on a topic does not make me a mean person. People change their minds all the time. Making a choice for myself does not mean it was anything personal toward you.
          
          I don’t speak in messages or codes. I don’t use my platform as a way to target someone. What I post has nothing to do with other people here. If I wanted to say something, I would.
          
          And with that being said, this I am saying directly to you:
          
          I came to you with nothing but respect. My post was not rude. It did not raise a stink. I simply decided that I no longer wanted that communication. If that offended you, then so be it. I will not apologize when my actions do not warrant one. Tagging me in post and calling me out is getting old. 
          
          This is the first, last, and only time I will address this. Kindly keep the one-sided beef to yourself.

A HUGE update for AFEII has been updated! (I'm taking 5.7k words. There was a lot of story to tell this chapter.) 
          
          Something else exciting? Part 1 has completely been wrapped up! Starting part 2 with the next update! So be on the look out for that.

          Been a whirlwind, but I'm determined to see Kenna and Olivia's story all the way through. I hope you guys enjoy! :)
