@Megan-Hayley I'm so glad my words can lift you up like that! ^0^
And as always, reading your work and giving you comments on it is my absolute pleasure! :3
I tend to name my characters based off of how the name sounds, too, but I'll also look up names and their meanings. It's small details like that that excite me. I like making things more... mmm, more thoughtful or symbolic/thematic than they probably need to be.
For example, I named a little girl in my novel "Clarissa" because it means "clarity" and my main character needed clarity on his situation because the way he was perceiving things was far too muddled by his anxiety.
With naming characters, I feel like there's almost a science to it sometimes. You can do it off of what feels right, no problem, but when you think about to the extent that I do, it can go farther than that. Ah, I won't go into it now for the sake of time. Long story short, it has to do with syllables. I can explain it more another time - in our messages, maybe :p
I should actually be asleep right now. If you, an Australian, are in Australia, you're living *in* March 18th. I live in the Eastern US, where it's about eight minutes shy of 1AM on March 18th.
I'll be awake for a while longer, though, so don't worry about keeping me up ^-^
re: Eh, I just figured that, considering Anton was introduced right before Justice got her Summons and he was described in a considerate amount of detail, he was important somehow. So, yay for importance of some degree!
