I just want to say that I, for one, am so grateful for all of the K-Pop fans that are coming together right now because of the tragedy of Jonghyun's suicide. He was a light to those who followed him. He inspired and gave hope to so many. I wish that idols could understand that they are worth so much more than just their dancing, singing, and rapping with pretty faces. And I wish that we as fans could show more appreciation for their struggles and hardships. They need to know that they are worth everything this world has to offer, just like the rest of us. They are people, too. They have emotions and minds and personalities other than the front they put on for our screens. Yes they make us happy and loved but we as a fan base have a responsibility to make sure they feel happy and loved for all of their hard work and struggles.
I'm so glad that K-pop has brought us to join as one giant family and that we can come to each other in situations like this. I only wish there was more we could've done to prevent this.
I love you, 종현.. Your body may not have lived forever, but your influence and memory will. Rest in peace
