I'll just do what I did in my other chapters and keep it fairly simple. If it's mediocre at best, it's better than nothing and I can always rewrite it.
          
          The next time I have a long break from responsibilities, I'll make sure to finish this chapter.

I took too big of a break from writing tried to compensate by fleshing it out, but I ended up setting the bar too high for myself and wrote myself into a hole. I'm nowhere near good enough to dig myself out of. 

Make use of the archive function and put my fic there. I've been too distracted to make any progress and will probably stay that way for a long time
