Guys, months ago I did some research and it seems the owner of this page has passed away. I spoke with someone who had contact with the groups she participated in, and with an aunt and friends of hers who confirmed her death. All I know about the cause of death is that she said she had contracted COVID and had a fever and that she would be back soon, but then something must have happened in the meantime, a post-COVID illness or something like that possibly. She uses another name to publish books outside of here and was about to release the last book in a series when this happened. Her publisher hasn't made any official announcement and it seems the family is having difficulty dealing with them. I was really saddened by what happened because I love her stories and reread them frequently; she was so talented. It's truly regrettable.

@maxonwife I'm so sorry for their family's loss. They'll be in my prayers. I've been reading her books and loving them a lot.

I always think about your stories, they gave me comfort through hard times. I’m forever heartbroken you didn’t get to finish the 2 stories, or make sequels to the other stories you created. They really are masterpieces that brought me through hard times. Their’s no other authors writing that I enjoy more in the genre of lost family. I wish I could have 20 more books from you as I know I would devour them. May your soul rest in peace and know that you were an amazing writer, I wish your life wasn’t cut off so quickly. Forever grateful for the impact you had on me, I remember looking everyday 2 years ago hoping you’d post the next chapter. Just to be devastated by the news that you had passed. You didn’t deserve that, you were active responding to everyone’s comments and brought me joy and comfort from your stories. Please rest in peace and know I always come to your page when I’m down to read a story in hopes of a miracle that you come back. The world didn’t get to read your writing, but I hope wherever you are that I loved your writing. I’ve repeated a lot in this message, but I hope if you’re reading this you helped me, more then anyone will ever know. So thank you and god bless your soul, you’ll forever be missed.

@allexis_44 i relate to how you feel. I discovered Tessa’s page here during a hard time in my college days and her contributions to the lost family trope were impeccable. I go back and reread what she has out there a lot cause it’s top tier. I miss Tessa a lot.

Can anyone find an author who has the same or similar writing style and is willing to finish the last two books? If you find one, please share an update here!

@allexis_44 I think that would be amazing!

@xoxothanie Totally respect and understand why you feel that way, but to this day 2 years later I still want to know what would happen next so I really hope someone decides to pick up and finish from where she left off.

I was about to comment, wondering when she would update Broken and Their Hidden Treasure, but then I saw the comments that she had passed away. Her first book that I read was Abandoned, and the moment I read it, I knew I'd love all her works and I did.
It's sad that she didn't even get to finish her last two books. She really left us on a cliffhanger.
