I guess you could say my story started the day my third grade teacher passed out pictures of book covers, she told us to use the cover to make a story. I had never been a reader when this happened, and only ever read some of the magic tree house books. But when this assignment was handed out, a story formed in my mind and I wrote a story. 

I got really into this story and proudly showed my school librarian it. She liked it, and told me to write more. After that day, I started to read more books, write stories and always keep her in mind. 

Now, at fourteen years old, I want to write a story that will make non-readers love books and make it so people want to write too. I may not be the best writer, but I will still try to become better each day.
