Well would you look at that. A 7th story in my Fortnite AU! In 2025!
          
          This one is gonna be very different from previous fics as instead of focusing on a single season, we're gonna be sifting through about 5 different ones. The last one will be the main plot, but there's a lot of backstory stuff we need to get through first.
          
          But until then, here's a prologue chapter taking place in the past giving Oro some more backstory.

          Epic Games when I said let Midas keep the longer hair from Ascended, I didn't expect you to turn around and say "aight, bet." 
          
          My guy's grown out his hair and got a fuckin' MULLET. (He just like me fr-)
          
          (And he low-key looks fine tho-)
          
          Plz give us an style option to put his hair into a ponytail, plz it'll be so CUTE!!
          
          Also, will I FINALLY get a canon Midas and Jones interaction next season?! I'll take anything!! NPC dialogue, Story Quests, SPOKEN DIALOGUE TOWARDS EACH OTHER!! (that 3rd one's a bit of a stretch-)

@kayvi0 No prob! I got off my butt and actually finished book #6 of my Fortnite AU, Resistance, after two years. It's worth reading since the ending is very different from the one I had before.
            
            And I added a new headcanon for Midas, which also involved me going back to the other 5 stories to add it in as well as some little extra changes.
            
            (Sorry if I sound pushy, I just miss reading people's comments on my fics ) Looking forward to the next chapter of TTR

@kayvi0 Oh hey! Nice to see you still sticking around my semi-dead account that got revived thanks to Chapter 2 Remix and Chapter 6 Season 1 (and now 2) .
            
            Loving your rewrite of The Tide Rises btw. I haven't read the original in forever so it feels like I'm reading it for the first time again and I LOVE it!

Almost done with the final chapter of Resistance!! Just gotta iron out a few things and it'll be ready to publish, hopefully later if I'm lucky!!
          
          In other news, next season of Fortnite is apparently heist themed and Midas MIGHT come back (idk I'm taking that part with a grain of salt)
          
          And I've written out the Prologue Chapter for book seven in my Fortnite AU, which will be titled "Ascended Vengeance" (it might change but this is the best I got rn)
          
          I'll give out more info when it's close to being published.
