I am an Anglo-Swiss writer, storyteller and apprentice perfumer. A walker-between-worlds, I have lived and travelled in many countries, especially in Africa and the Middle East, and experienced many states of consciousness, bringing back observations and inspirations that have made their way into my fiction and non-fiction, as well as my perfume experiments. I follow my natural curiosity and gather my nectar from many flowers. I am inspired by music, real life encounters, mythology, history, art, literature and science. If you ask me what my ideal world is, it is one where the Renaissance mind and the tolerance of the old Cordoba caliphate join up with the excitement and pioneering of the space age, 'sur un air de guitare'. Nowadays, I travel frequently between the Alps, Andalusia and England, and occasionally further afield. I am presently engaged in writing a novel set in North-West France in the present day and in the early-mid 1940s.
