@Hunter583545 To make a paradise for pure wizards only and his revenge on mankind for making his kin go into extinction. Since he, woodman, ellen, and karen are the only 4 pure wizards left. 
            
            And at the same time, he fell in love at first sight when he see Mio. Which Mio noticed and speculates that never being able to win her affection may have been another cause of his suffering.
