I just finished your book Altered, and I am shook. That was one of the absolute best novels I've ever read on this app and I absolutely loved it. I'm starting the second book now, and can't wait to see the journey this one will take me on.

Hi Sorcha, I'm new to Wattpad and Altered is the first book I've read. I've just started Book 2; this is such a compelling narrative! It's hard to put it down. I'm in the process of posting my own novel; do you have any advice for newbies?

@SorchaDeBrun Thanks for taking the time to respond. I really appreciate it! I will keep looking for reading clubs, but it seems that a lot of the author community things have been shut down. I'll definitely look into the possibility of monthly features as well. Thanks again! I saw below that you are planning to publish the Altered series; things like #pitmad might be a fun way to approach agents if you haven't already explored this option. The next #pitmad is scheduled for the beginning of June if you are interested in that kind of thing!

@sharondawnselby hi Sharon, I'm glad you're enjoying the series - there are first draft so plenty of plot holes to fall into, but amazed when people find something they enjoy in them all the same! ❤ so for me it took a while to get going, and you have to be patient. It's easy to get lost among the fanfiction and all of that. What really helped me is I found some other authors that had a reading club on here... sort of a networking thing and just being active in the chats and all. Pace your posting of chapters... twice and week or so. They use to do featured stories and I got book 1 on that for a month which change the game completely. Not sure if that is still being done, because of the paid feature now, but work looking into! But honestly it's a lot of patience and luck... hope some of this has helped and I'm far from an expert but understand the need to share your book baby! ❤ Sorcha x

Hii! I discovered the series three days and have been absolutely and utterly hooked! I finished the series today and it's been such an emotional roller coaster! Every single emotion or theirs felt like my own and I could imagine every detail! Your writing skills And imagination are so incredible!!! Thank you so so much for this series! This series is gonna be a part of my heart for a long time!

Have you considered turning the Altered series into a movie? Seriously. I am loving this series so much and it’s such an original idea I read it like a movie and oh it would be soooooo good to see on a big screen.

You know you’re reading a good book when you think about the characters in your daily life. I did that with your characters and when I was at work I would find myself wondering what Charlotte and James were doing. I’d have to take a break and read a chapter...lol. I stayed up all night last night finishing Feared and now I’m sad because I can’t catch up with them anymore Beat of luck getting published!

Hello readers,
I know it has been a very long time without any word from me on here! I have busy working on revising and editing Altered - which I am delighted to say is completed and I will be considering my next steps from here! I am very excited about it, though! You would hardly recognise it (but in the best way possible)!!
The reason for this little message is to say I am hoping to publish a new chapter for Superhero Nobody this weekend! I know I have been nothing short of disastrous, but I promise it is only because I have been busy creating magic with Altered!
