For those of you who already read the newest chapter of Chasing Freedom (Chapter 15: In the Dark of the Night), here's a quick note: I've added a bunch of paragraphs to the (previous) end of this chapter. It starts in the line: "I didn't hit it in the first place." Michael grumbled.

Hello everyone!

It's been a while, but I'm back at writing. After consulting some of you, I've decided to leave my old unfinished books on hold and start something fresh instead. My newest project is (currently) called Temporal Research and I already have 3 chapters up for you to read! It's SciFi instead of Fantasy for once :) Have fun reading, leave a vote if you like and feel free to comment on anything!

Sornea

@Tschike @Tschike My schedule is to work on a new chapter every Monday and Friday, but I might not always finish one on each of those, so sometimes you might have only one per week.

Hello and welcome everyone!

If you have come to read, and I assume you have, I would like to give you a short introduction to my 4 works right here and now.

Book 1: "The Tribes of K'haren" is a completed fantasy novel about people in another world. They may seem like humans, but they aren't, even if they struggle with some familiar issues as we do, e.g. discrimination of minorities. Although the story's main characters are best friends who have grown up together, this is NOT a love story. In fact, there is hardly any romance and no sexual content in this book at all. (If you wonder why I wrote non-love, look at the "hot" section of fantasy and try finding a book description which doesn't already spoil the romantic ending and clearly focus on some monogamous relationship struggles. It's just boring to read the same stuff all over and even more so if you have to write it (which definitely takes much longer!).)
This book is as much about peace and freedom as it is about friendship and revolution.

Book 2: "Falling through Time" is a fantasy novel about a young man with Xeroderma Pigmentosum, an incurable illness that affects the way your skin repairs damage taken from sunlight in everyday life wherefore people who have it get skin cancer much more easily and must protect themselves from the sun at all costs. But how do you do that if you suddenly find yourself in an earlier century, pre sunscreen, special window protection and the necessary medication? However, these are only some of the struggles James Avery faces on his sudden and unstoppable journeys through space and time.
Please not that this book is currently on hold. I am having trouble working on it because I don't want to misrepresent XP but have trouble working out a plot that doesn't make it impossible unless I let the main character die within like, two months or so... Which is a possibility though... Oh well, I'd love to hear your opinions and suggestions on the already published chapters anyway!

Book 3: "Children of the Forest" tells the story of Faolan and Moira, twins living in a magical world called Yryan. They have to journey away from their home because their single father leaves for war. When they are in the seemingly endless forests in the mountains, however, things start to become very, very strange.
This is the first book of the Sagas of Yryan. It features one chapter that has inspired the next book in the saga, book 4 in this list.
CotF is a book targeting a young adult readership but has so far been enjoyed by anyone between 16-55 who read it (but I can't be sure because they're all friends and family) It was once a school project of mine wherefore it has been completed and even revised two years ago. It is now being uploaded every Sunday.

Book 4: "Ghosts of the Forest" is the second book in the Sagas of Yryan. It focuses on a small village within the seemingly endless forests that has once been cursed by a busy witch wherefore all people born there are completely invisible and inaudible to people from outside. Some of them, however, get bored of their village lives and search for adventures and a better future in the big city of Nuir-ksad, where their invisibility soon makes them face the temptations of stealing without being noticed. From there on, their lives lead down a whole new path that beholds great riches and adventures, but also great dangers.
(Have you ever tried to pay for a piece of bread if you can't talk to a person and they can't even see you? I mean, if you don't know what it's worth and you come from a society without money, how is that supposed to work?)
So far, I've barely started this book so there is not yet a regular updating schedule but it is my major project for this summer (I mean, next to my three major projects for university... and that major major project of looking after and old and sick dog... and that other major project of building my own guinea pig home of awesomeness... oh well)

            ALL COVERS BY @Neromir ! :)

(Sneaking up to the stage, trying to hide by blushing until my face is as read as the curtains) *cough* Hi there (waving carefully at the audience I luckily cannot see due to the bright light shining down on me)
          I - I know I've been gone for a while but...
You know, it's been suuuper busy (silence, someone coughing at the far end, causing some whispers)
*Sigh* Okay, I am sorry, I failed. Completely abandoning you for so long, I can do no more than hope for your forgiveness (kneeling down for show) (nobody reacts) (getting back up, nervously playing with a string of hair)
But... there's also good news... (whispers) somebody gave me a deadline (sighing in the dark) so I actually have to continue revising "Children of the Forest". That means (whispers get louder) I will be uploading again. I don't know how frequently nor for how long, but I guess it's still better than nothing, right? (loud whispering, one person cheers) Oh well, we'll see. Maybe it'll get me back into the mood to also continue writing on "Falling through time"? (More cheering, I finally dare to smile a bit) Great, then I'll just leave now and go be productive, how does that sound? (Everyone cheer!)
[Hi people, couldn't say it in a normal way but yes, it's true ;) Hope you're all having an awesome summer (or winter, wherever you are :D)]

Hi there everyone,

Sorry for not uploading a chapter yesterday, it was Neromir's birthday so we were enjoying a day off (which means we only sat on homework for 3 hours) so I didn't get around to it. But I'll try to upload it today. Also, go wish Neromir a happy birthday, even if it's one day late ;P

          Have a nice time everbody

          PS: @Neromir Happy Birthday again/still/whatever ^-^

Sornea

Hello again

Soo, I know I haven't really done anything on Wattpad for a while now - but I've got a good excuse! I'm now in the middle of the first week of university and everything is new and mostly chaotic ... So yeah, I don't really have the time to write chapters.
But good news everyone: My former teacher has now passed me the reviewed version of "Children of the Forest" so as soon as possible, I'll go through that and also continue writing "Falling through time". Therefore there will be two "new" stories to most of you but some have already read "Children of the Forest" so I want to continue "Falling through time" for them (and for me so my creativity doesn't die)

Anyway, got to go now, still got stuff to do, have an awesome time everybody, good luck to you all (especially those starting a new term ;P)
