Venti using Istaroth's powers (or Venti being Istaroth) is a theory many have already speculated, since we know he's not revealing his true powers.
Nevertheless, this puts Genshin on a new other level. I mean, Asmoday/Sustainer of Heavenly Principles was broken, with an ability to steal/seal her opponent's powers. Now (and I could be wrong), but from what I understood from the trailer is that Venti didn't "create another timeline", nor did he went back to the past. He simply reversed time to the point where "it all began". I don't know what's more broken - create alternative timelines and go to a specific point in time in that timeline | or | reversing time itself to the point you want to go back. You tell me!
Just from this, I'm eager to start a fanfic which involves Genshin somehow. Most likely, a crossover with Tensura as the main plot with my own OC and ideas. Would you like if I did?
