Books are my family.
They take me place far beyond my life,
were I can have hope that my life isn't going to be garbage.
They give me hope that my life will have a happy ending.
That even though I have gone through trouble,
people have had it worse.
they tell me that I'm not alone.
Books are there when you need a shoulder to cry on,
when I need to stop thinking.
I hope we all find something to give us our happy ending.
