It’s the start of pride and I hope everyone is doing okay, especially with the rumours of pride fall. Whether it is real or not you should make sure to keep yourself and other lgbtq+ people safe!
Now I know it’s pride but don’t let this stop the BLACK LIVES MATTER movement! Without Marsha P. Johnson, a gay self-identified drag queen, Stormé DeLarverie, a Black lesbian and Sylvia Rivera, a Puerto Rican trans woman, we wouldn’t have pride! Thy pathed the way for pride which started with riots and fights against cops.
So please if you are not already, support black lives matter by donating, or texting the numbers given out. You can just sign a petition that barely takes a minute or even share it, spread the word will also be very helpful as many social platforms are taking down post/tweets limiting the information that's been given out.
