I can smell the rotting flesh, it's close. I scan the area through my sights, looking for the intruder.
There it is.
The stumbling corpse falls right into my sights, and I gently press the trigger.
The body falls, its head blown off completely. It's the only way to kill these things, these people I used to know.
So I have been angelically good, and I think I have allayed all suspicions of my parents' BUT I will only be on for short periods of time. I hope to make a full come back, but life has kept me busy.
And I'm thinking up a zombie book.
