blood and more blood, martell? what an exhausting speech. we've already seen what color it is, no need to drench us in it to prove a point. we came prepared to ride, we brought all the gear and we are ready, so save your dramatic threats. as for your advice on pride and where i should kneel... you can shove that idea exactly where it fits best.

a man must be a fool to mistake the will of the gods for a tyrant's delusion of sweeping away the old to restore order, but all you leave in your wake is the stench of tyranny and the hunger of widows. if you think dorne will bow before your ashes, then you know nothing of our sun’s heat or the poison of our sands. you may call it insolence; i call it freedom. if you come seeking war, ensure your men know that in my lands we do not harvest peace under a stranger’s command, but graves for those who dare profane them.

do you really think that speech impresses me? how tedious. fire and purification as if you were a god, but all i see here is another mortal reciting verses before the sand swallows his name. blood it shall be, then. if you want to burn so badly, go ahead. it will amuse me to see if your ashes are as loud as your threats. i highly doubt it, but at least it will serve to pass the afternoon.
