I just read the most beautiful author's note in "Crazy Awkward Sweet" by @rheaday97. It went like this:
          	
          	"For all Muslim readers--practice your religion without fear. Wear your hijab if you feel safe. Don't let the hate doubt your beliefs. You are not terrorists. The real terrorists are the people who make you feel unsafe. You are beautiful, you are light, you are peace. Never forget and never regret.
          	
          	For all female readers--do not fear the hateful comments from ignorant people. We are more than just our bodies. We are beautiful humans with beautiful minds as well. We are stronger than they give us credit for.
          	
          	For all my black readers--your life matters. Don't ever let anyone make you think otherwise. Your skin is beautiful, your history is not one to be ashamed of. Use it as motivation to keep fighting for civil liberties.
          	
          	For all my immigrant readers--you are what America is all about. Our country is known for welcoming all race by grace. Let us not forget that you are valid. You are the reason why we have the American dream.
          	
          	For all my LGBTQ+ readers--we are valid, we are still here. If you are in the closet, don't let the hate and ignorance stop you from shining. The rest of your LGBTQ+ family will wait for you. I promise. If you're out and proud, be cautious but never let your pride waver.
          	
          	To all my POC readers--regardless of your race, we are all part of the human race. Never let racism keep you down. We come from strong ancestors who have taught us never to quiver under the oppressor's power and to fight for our basic human rights. We will never let them win."
          	
          	I found this so amazing that I had to type it up again and post it here. Spread the word around!

For me specifically just the second, but I have many Muslim friends and friends who are immigrants from other places, sorry I just saw this @CrazyRealitymuch

@Sparrows_and_potter I feel like this a lot. I'm not Muslim, but this can apply to everyone. We all have to feel safe, loved, and comfortable in our own skin, mind, and where we stand. Thank you for sharing this with us.

Heyyyyyy! Okay so I feel really bad because long ago I said that I would update and because I'm a terrible person, I didn't. 
          
          AND I AM SO SORRY! 
          
          I saw that you were excited for it and I honestly feel terrible, but I just wanted to let you know that I have officially updated. And I'm really sorry. I didn't mean to hype anyone up and then just let them down. There was just some trouble with time even though there's no excuse to my tardiness. 
          
          I'm sorry again and it's understandable if you hate me. :) but thank you for the love and support of my book. I really do appreciate it. ❤️
