Your works are truly some of the most well written Kanera fics I’ve ever read. I spent a long time searching for a fic that could ease the pain of season 4 of rebels, and the “Star Wars Rebels: Hera and Kanan” did just that. I knew I needed to know what happened after I finished “A New Dawn” and that fic was everything (and more) that I could have possibly imagined. I’d like to think of that fic as my new canon after what happened after the end of AND. I guess what I’m trying to say by writing this is, thank you. You are an amazing writer, and I will be waiting patiently (however long it need be) to read more of these wonderful creations you write. Take however long you need away. I’m glad I can always count on coming back to your account to get my monthly supply of Kanera content. ❤️❤️

@emmishungry What a lovely message, thank you!! I would love to actually finish one of these fics, but life always seems to intrude. Not to mention that, at times, it feels like you're just yelling into the void when you post fics for a show that's been over for a few years already, and never had a very big fandom to begin with. But messages like yours make it worthwhile! I'm honestly not sure when/if I'll get back to writing Hera and Kanan. The plan was actually to write an original novel based on one of my fics, but that's also kind of fallen by the wayside for the time being. So, I don't know. We'll see. I think it's less likely, though, that I'll work on the in-canon fic you mentioned. My particular darling is the AU, "Darker the Night", and likely the one I'd still make an effort for. But who knows? Anyway, thank you so much for reading and for your message! It means a lot!

@BlindJediGuy Every writer I've ever met and every author I follow on twitter has talked about self-doubt and imposter syndrome. I struggle with it a lot myself. If you love to write, though, you just have to keep going, because that (and reading a lot) is the only thing that'll make you better. Happy 2021!

Hi Again! I’m so glad I found Wattpad and your stories! It’s so nice to read such amazing work and be able to communicate with the talented author! I hope you don’t mind me asking your opinion. Since Rebels Ended I have been left wondering of course what would happen next. In my head I imagined if Sabine finds Ezra, that they would eventually be in a relationship. Do you think that is a possibility? Regardless of what Filoni et al do if they ever make a sequal, did you have a story in your mind of what you think would happen? Do you see them together? You write such great material I was just dying to hear your point of view.

True! I guess what I mean to say is I was hoping the grown up Sabine and Ezra (its like 5 years later I think?) would have more serious feeling for one another. The epilogue made me think that was what was going to happen. Like you said I can just make it up in my head. Maybe the Mandolorian season 2 might shed some light for me as per what is canon. Also I second your story I’d rather your ending with Kanan alive. ❤️

@Ardealanca if you wanted them to be together, there's no reason not to imagine that. I can be a stickler about canon but, like Rick Riordan said, once the book is out there, it belongs to the reader. You can imagine whatever you want and make it your own. Sure, Kanan died in canon, but my personal canon is that he didn't die and went after Ezra instead, and was eventually captured by Thrawn and the Chiss Ascendancy along with Ezra. I absolutely think that would have been a more compelling, better ending. They're just stories- they can be whatever we want them to be!

@SpecSeven thanks for the feedback. It’s just nice to hear another persons opinions who obviously knows so much about the story. I’m rewatching the series with my husband and I see now how Ezras flirting died down. I think it’s really just because I wanted them to be together. Your right though it’s a good example to show kids that you can have a strong friendship without having a relationship. I appreciate your opinions and totally understand your feelings. I‘ve been reading some of you‘re fics the past few days. You‘re certainly a great writer! My favorite one is Hera and Kanan (obviously) which made me wonder. Are you ever going to continue with the story? It would be a shame if it had to stop in the casino. The story was so packing. And it’s great that you write kanera stuff because it’s a pity how their relationship is given very little attention in the series.

@RavenWing214 can't say! Sorry for the late response, I took a writing hiatus and haven't been on Wattpad in a loooong time. I've gotten back to writing, though- more Kanera of course- and my AO3 is up to date, unlike Wattpad. You can just google search "archive of our own specseven" and it'll pop right up, if you're interested.
