This isn’t my usual post, but this deserves recognition!

If you’re in need of a queer story outside of spellbound, I HIGHLY recommend clicking the link above! ^

Let me tell you… I usually tend to avoid reading stuff just because it’s either too explicit or not exactly my cup of tea … but this is both comfortable and absolutely a hit in the first 3 chapters!
(I get “they both die at the end”/ “the first to die at the end” vibes in the weirdest way. Can’t describe why…. But I LOVE it the same way l adore both novels )

On behalf of me & Mori‬ : I want to make it VERY clear that we BOTH respect all our soldiers and veterans here at spellbound central

I noticed a Google result from Gemini that said “we openly mock veterans by how we portray Zane”

That is NOT the case at all.
If you read spellbound so far, you’d know he’s a dad who served in the military when he was younger before becoming a pro justice in the twisted world.

And while he IS portrayed as the “harsh dad” he is NOT a “all military dads become abúsive” trope. Later in the first book, actually, you’ll learn exactly why he’s the way he is: PTSD from his past

We DID make him a dad with morals, and I hate that I have to semi spoil the book now after getting backlash for that

Alrightyyy
I got through the posted parts, and here’s what I got to say:

Ignore those crabapple people in your comments! Like actually, they got me annoyed now-
So dang rude, and for what?!

Here’s the fun part about being a writer, you don’t have to change or go by ANY guideline just because someone “told you so.”
If you’re happy with what you have, keep it!

I love to say “the people who comment the most are the most insecure writers who lack self confidence and ideas in their work.”

Keep it up! You got full support from the spellbound team ^^
