For Nico’s birthday here’s a list of bands I think Nico would listen to
          
          1) death cab for cutie- it’s so dark with the lyrics that I think he would just love it
          2) Raconteurs- Consoler of the Lonely literally describes Nico, (head cannon: will call Nico his broken boy solider after the song/album 
          3) fall out boy- I think this is pretty obvious 
          4) muse- especially 2nd law, drones and absolution. It’s just so dystopian.
          5) SOME twenty one pilots songs- I feel like he would love neon gravestones, truce, fall away, friend please, trap door, car radio, and  jump suit
          6)I should but I don’t really listen to this band but My Chemical Romance I’m goin to put up here because people I feel like are going to riot if I don’t.

Uhhhhgggg. So at my school and 4 others we have a dance club that’s mandatory where you have to learn adequate and properness and slow dance and stuff. It was sooooo awkward bc I’m short (5’1) and all these guys these schools are like 6ft and in here like  (as in I’m looking up not eye roll). Or they are under 5ft. But more importantly…
          I SWEAR I SAW FRICKEN LEO VALDEZ!!! 
          I was partnered with him for a dance and when I saw him I was like, “uh what are you doing here?” SRSLY the only difference was that he had glasses and his name was (code name) Orange but I swear he was exactly what Leo looks like. And he flirted with all the girls but was also genuinely nice too. I swear you can’t make this up. It was crazy and caught me off guard. No piper or Jason though.  Or Percy or Annabeth or Nico or hazel or frank or Reyna. There is a literally will in my class that is NAMED Will and is just like will solace, personality and looks. which is why we question him his straightnesss.
          
          Anyway I’m wiped out from so much dancing. It was really fun. Most guys were awkward but when I danced with the guys im friends with, it was so funny! Like they kept trying to dip me and then just let go. And Orange was pretty fun too and we had a conversation and hit off really well, I ended up getting his number. It’s just sad that I have school tmrw.

I just finished reading Defiant by Brandon Sanderson and...
          I CANT STOP FANGIRLING OVER SPENSA AND JORGEN OMG THEY ARE SO FRICKING ADORABLE!!! AHHHHHH I CANT CONTAIN MY HAPPINESS WITH;

ALANIK WAS LIKE "dude I know you miss her and are worried about her in the nowhere and losing every memory but you but can we focus on our species survival please?
          AHHHHHHHHHH AND JORGEN AND SPENSA BOOK ONE WAS SO FUNNY WHERE SHE LITERALLY JUMP ON A CHAIR/ TABLE TO MEET HIS HEIGHT AND PROCEED TO GO ON ONE OF HER RANTS WHERE SHE WILL LAUGH AT HIS ASHES BEING BURIED OR SMTH!!!  AND BEGINNING OF BOOK TWO JORGEN LITERALLY CALLING SPENSA BULLY AND SPENSA BEING LIKE "...bitch what the scud? you're taller than me I cant be a bully" I LOVE THEM SO MUCH I ACTUALLY CANT CONTAIN IT!!!!
          Also anyone else think that Megan and David from Steel heart are Spensa and Jorgen and Vin and Elend in other dimensions? AND with Megan's abilities, its totally possible.

Guys I just reread between shades of gray and I remembered why it’s one of my favorite books ever. 
          Highly recommend epically if you like 20th century historical fiction
