          This is just a cool detail I noticed in a book today. 
          
          
          I just realized something about Mistborn: Final Empire by Brandon Sanderson.
          The character with scars on his arm and wrists is considered to be the bravest, and most powerful (except Lord Ruler and maybe Vin) character in the book.
          Kelsier is THE Survivor of the Pits of Hathsin, he got his scars from having to mine (yes, like for ores) with his bare arms. But he’s considered strong and a hero among the skaa for his scars. I’m not sure of Brandon made this intentional, but I just love this. It can even convey the Pits of Hathsin as almost a metaphor. And I love the fact that the strongest character (again, besides Lord Ruler) has scars on his arms, and he’s praised for surviving that. 
          Plus, Kelsier is such a lovable and great character. 
          Anyway, this was just a detail I just thought of today, a reminder that some of the strongest people, have scars on their arms. 
          
          Btw, I’m not promoting sh or anything. I just know I might get accused of it. But just as someone who was so close, if I wasn’t so guarded, I just want to bring this up to those who might find this helpful, or even more self love out of this.
