DEAR READERS
Ninjago Book 6 might end up delayed until sometime in 2027 for a few reasons:
1. the sheer volume of the story and the ideas I want to include may very well increase the page count beyond what I previously expected, and I'm being stubborn on cutting storylines and ideas because this is the final book of the main series. However though, a trio of spin-offs are still planned, but they will be much shorter stories with an estimated average of 20-30 pages.
2. these past few years have been rough on me, but this one in particular is just been kicking me in the teeth. I haven't been in much of a writing mood because of it, but I'm hoping things will get better soon, it's just too hard to tell right now with everything being so fresh.
3. I'm expanding into original works in order to formulate some kind of career from my books, and that requires a lot of planning and is taking up more and more of my writing time as I try to make it a priority. This doesn't mean I'm giving up on Book 6 and throwing it on the backburner, it's just going to take me a lot longer to get finished now that I'm delegating my time to other projects.
And 4. I'm entering a contest held by Real Good AI. No, not to use AI, but the contest is about writing a speculative horror story about AI. Regardless of where I place in the contest, I am aiming to have the story available here eventually. You can check them out for yourself at RealGoodAI.org
ANYWAY that's my once-in-a-blue-moon update concluded!
