William Afton makes what will be Fazbear Entertainment in the 1970s or 1960s (probably) with the goal of bringing fantasy and fun to life in the form of singing happy animals. For this, he creates hand-sewn suits made to fit the human body like a mascot Henry Emily likes the idea and with his genius in robotics, he chooses to make a knockoff of his own that features the mediocre melodies and Chica with barn themed animals and southern accents to have a homey feel to it William gets mad as his business is being beat out by Henry, who eventually saved William from bankruptcy by offering a merger where the two restaurants/companies combine. William begins to study robotics out of both admiration and jealousy for Michael. They create springlock suits because Henry prefers the robotic performers and William prefers the more lively human performers. They create FredBear’s family diner featuring Fredbear and Bonnie as the main cast and the mediocre melodies as a side show Eventually the mediocre melodies are phased out but Chica is kept as a main cast member for the new branch of Fredbear’s Family Diner called “Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria” where they create Freddy, Bonnie, Foxy, and add Chica as they are the cast of the Fredbear & Friends TV show. This happens in 1983 William’s youngest son, who we know as the crying child, is babysat by his older brother while their father is deep in his work. William sets up cameras all around the house and neighborhood and puts a speaker in his child’s favorite toy to keep him in check Eventually it’s the boy’s birthday and his brother and his friends decide it’d be a funny prank to get him close to Fredbear and they put the kid in Fredbear’s mouth. His tears and frantic movements eventually cause the springlocks to fail and Fredbear’s mouth snaps into the kid and forced him to be hospitalized

As the child is hospitalized, either his older brother or his father, maybe even both, promise to put him back together and fix him during his coma. Fredbear’s is still up and running, however. The Afton family falls into a deep depression. William drowns himself in his work and founds Afton Robotics, the older brother, Michael, begins to sneak out of the house to go back to Freddy’s as it brings some sort of comfort despite knowing what he saw. William becomes an alcoholic and his wife spends all day sitting down and watching TV while her husband is out of the house constantly Eventually, William snaps and one night in the rain he sees a lone child outside of Fredbear’s with the door’s locked. This child is none other than Charlotte Emily, Henry’s daughter. He takes her to the back alley and in a drunken rage he kills her and dumps her in that alley. To William, it feels good. The puppet escapes from the restaurant that night and goes to find her, as she is the child he was assigned to protect. He breaks down in the alley from the rain and the two of them end up fusing together In subsequent nights, five more children are killed by William dressing up in one of his old mascot-like costumes and dragging them into back rooms to kill them. The news of this gets out that children were killed at Fredbear’s regularly and it’s shut down. The spin-off, Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza, is also shit down. Until the *grand reopening* In Five Nights at Freddy’s 2. By this point, Henry and William’s friendship and business partnership is broken as Henry suspects him of being the killer but has no evidence. William makes a *Sister Location* to the Fazbear Entertainment brand under Afton Robotics. He makes a robot based on his daughter, Elizabeth, who he names Baby. Baby eventually sees Elizabeth alone and offers her an ice cream cone. Despite her father’s warning, Elizabeth reached for the ice cream cone and gets scooped into Baby’s torso. Now William’s daughter is dead too.
