@azeleahaze even if he was drunk or 'joking' he knows thats something that hurts you. Thing is neither of those are excuses for it. If its him being drunk then he was already thinking it and the alcohol made him lose inhibitions about saying it. So him saying it was a joke after or before sobering up doesn't change that. He knew it would hurt you if he said that. Even if he doesn't feel that way he said it because he knows it will hurt.
