Hello, It's me Jariah. 

I guess you already know that don't you, love? You've been watching over me since the day I came into this world. You were there in the eyes of my mother, as she gazed down at me; you were the first thing I saw when I opened my big brown eyes. You were the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. You shone so brightly, I thought I was going to go blind. As I got older I saw you more frequently, in wedding chapels, hospitals, intertwined hands of older people, and soldiers who returned from the war.

Then, you suddenly disappeared. Confused, I searched high and low, far and wide for you but nothing. Was it because of something I did? Is it because I'm getting older? I miss you, love. It's been years and I gave up looking for you, I blocked everyone out because of you. It wasn't until I met a boy that I caught a slight glimpse of you, yet still out of my reach. I saw you and I could not be any happier, the boy told me he knew you; he told me he was going to help me get to you. 

His green eyes glimmered as he said that and just a spark of your presence was there. I didn't know what to say or how to feel! I was finally going to meet you again! After so many years.

The journey was amazing, and somehow, you were repeatedly in the eyes of this boy I have come close to. One day, I was finally able to reach you. You had a smile on your face and you seemed much happier than before. When I said; "I came to bring you home." You simply shook your head, grabbed me by my shoulders and turned me towards the person who's been by my side since day one. That was you, in the body of the boy that is now a man, who has guided me to you. 

I Love you Dad.
