There is. I did a mistake where I wrote the entire first book in Jean's POV, so I had nowhere to squeeze the reason in it, hahaha, oops. The second book, there is a reason but it might be vague to some readers, because I can't find the right mood write out his entire reason for trying to destroy the train.
            
            Curse me and my lack of planning! Ahhh xD! I'm at fault here, oops.
            
            If you really want to know the reason, which might be rather spoilerish if you dont know about Kim's past, I can vomit out the entire reason here, lolol.
