I am SUCH a big fan of the series (PONDPHUWIN!! AOUBOOM!! my sweet chaotic babies) I’ve rewatched it like… IDK how many times lol. I knew there was a book, but didn’t know there was a TRANSLATED VERSION until I stumbled on YOURS on Wattpad and… I ascended. Bless your heart, your soul, your WiFi, EVERYTHING ✨✨
And can we TALK about how you didn’t just translate the words, but also explained the terms?? You gave us CONTEXT, CULTURE, EVERYTHING. Not just a translation, but a full backstage pass forever grateful.
This is actually my third time reading (yes, I’m that gone). First time I jumped in at the ANGST—you know the part —when they got back together and Phum’s fam finally accepted them. I was like “ok cool cute” but then SCROLLED UP to the scene where Phum’s dad sees them and—BOOM. TRAUMA. I legit had an existential crisis like… it had me questioning life like… why is love treated differently when it’s same-gender?? LOVE IS LOVE, PERIOD.
Second time I started from the beginning, and OMG what a ROLLERCOASTER .
I was giggling, crying, throwing my phone, rereading lines 50 times… feral the whole time lmao. Had me wishing I had a college life and friend group like that ngl (where do I apply???)
Yes, some parts were… yikes (kotoyes comments, Phum’s over-possessiveness, those “jokes/comments” ) but overall??—the story??? Chef's kiss. ICONIC.
From “slave” to “faen”—THE DRAMA, THE FEELS. ICONIC. And after finishing?? SCREAMING because WE. WERE. ROBBED. The characters had so much depth to them. Everything they did, there was a reason, but the show left out way too much!! Still tho… both versions got their own kinda magic ✨
ANYWAY—thank you THANK YOU for translating bless you forever. PLEASE continue the rest because I need to see the gang a few years later. I need more chaos, more love, MORE EVERYTHING or I will combust
