And... I'm back!
          
          After thinking about it a little too much, I caved and decided to take part in the ONC this year. I was due something fresh, inspiration struck, and I get to drag in a couple of characters I've been brewing on for several months now. So without further ado, I present: The Silence That Speaks!
          
          It sits somewhere on the line between paranormal and fantasy, and features cool things like mental breakdowns and pretty eyes. According to my plans, I shouldn't actually have any issues confining it to a novella wordcount, but it is me and I don't trust me. But there's my tentative promise. I'm trying really hard.

          There's three chapters written so far which I've thrown out all at once because my impulse control has expired. I won't try to stick to any kind of update schedule, so chapters will spontaneously appear as I finish them. I hope you enjoy :D
          
          ATW chapters will keep appearing each Friday as they have been, unless something terrible (e.g. gunshot, kidnapping, university assignment) befalls me. I'm not that far off being done, I promise...

          I've been rather quiet for the past six months thanks to life hitting me with a spade—the spade being university assignments and responsibilities and other such joys, though my grave has not been dug just yet, so I think I'm winning. I make no promises that my steady descent into madness/the dirt/adulthood will let up this year, but I thought I'd say hi anyway :3
          
          ATW updates have been steadily appearing each Friday, so if for some reason you missed all those, get better at noticing things!! I plan to continue those weekly updates until the book's conclusion (unless I truly do pass away) which isn't massively far away now?? My outline is piecing itself together as it goes. Updates are almost caught up to my offline progress but I'm aiming to get ahead again this month before everything ambushes me.
          
          After that... who knows. I'll just be glad to finish something this year.
          
          Thanks to everyone who's still kicking around here!! I do hope you had a nice holiday, whether that be celebrations or just curling up real cosy in bed for a long snooze. Here's to a 2025 where I finally master doing fifty million things at once *lifts coffee in toast*

I may have gotten badly distracted yesterday, but ATW got another update!! Chapter 9.2 is up, and it,, genuinely is my favourite still. I adore my kids.
