Hey guys! So, let me get straight to the point. The Percy Jackson casting. If you are a PJO fan like me and have been keeping up with the updates, you know that the 'official trio' has been released. That being said, Annabeth is being cast by Leah Jeffries. A black girl. With no gray eyes. And no curly blonde hair. Is it wrong to want an accurate actress that fits the book description of Annabeth Chase? As readers, we have every right to be mad, not a Leah, but at Rick Riordan, because if we hadn't bought his books he wouldn't be where he is now. I'm sure that Leah is a good actress, from what I hear, she stunning in her previous roles, but she's not Annabeth. She doesn't even look Californian. Also, I'm not trying to 'bring her down' or 'insult her' like she accuses in one of her blogs, I just wanna point out that Riordan said that the movie was a failure. Well at least that Annabeth was closer to the description. They're not even gonna dye Percys' hair black or put in contacts for both Annabeth and Percy. I'm a frustrated reader.
