@mcfarlanebooks Thank you for the advice! I was planning on the first chapter to be a brief foreshadow in the perspective of the boy. I guess I am writing a fictional horror, this is based lightly on a game, this is sort of a prequel to the actual storyline. The age group I'm aiming for are probably 13-16? I'm not quite sure about that. As for the backstory of the boy, I was planning for him to have a normal life but something he learned about, the war which will be explained, made him angry about humanity, making him angry. Anyway, thanks for the advice! I'll try to follow it as much as I can!

@King390 it is a good start, line an outline of a character, a very angry character. What are you writing, fictional horror? What age group are you aiming for? Then I would create a more well-rounded profile and decide where to take the story. Remember, every villian was good once...its those characters with redeeming qualities that people love to read more about. Does this help?

@mcfarlanebooks If you don't mind me asking, so you mind if you read my book? It's my first book and I really want to get as much feedback as possible. You don't have too if you don't want to, but if you ever have some free time, I'd really apprciate it if you told me what I did well it what I could work on.
            Thanks,
            King390.
